On the trend in commercial banks in Kenya on trends, the figures do not give full disclosure since the standards vary from bank to bank. what is a defaulted account – is this when an account is not paid up in the 1st or 2nd month? The trends therefore cannot be consolidated, but individual banks have to report to Central bank on their card portfolio performances.
